Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 September 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to tickets purchased for White Star Heritage exhibitions and events and to your use of this website.
Please read them carefully before purchasing a ticket. By completing a booking, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About us
White Star Heritage Ltd operates travelling exhibitions, events and associated visitor experiences.

2. Buying tickets
Tickets are sold through TicketSource. When booking, please check the exhibition, venue, date, entry time, ticket type, number of tickets and total price before making payment. Your booking is confirmed when TicketSource issues a booking confirmation following successful payment.
Tickets are normally supplied electronically and may contain a QR code or other unique identifier used for admission. TicketSource’s customer purchase policy and booking terms also apply to the TicketSource booking service.
3. Prices and payment
Ticket prices and compulsory charges are shown before payment. Prices may vary between exhibitions, dates, ticket types, promotions and booking periods. Promotional or discounted prices do not create an entitlement to the same price for a later purchase or booking change.
If we discover an obvious pricing or technical error, we will contact you and explain the available options. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
4. Timed entry and ticket eligibility
Tickets are issued for a particular exhibition, date and entry time or arrival window. If you arrive late, we will normally try to admit you on the same day, subject to opening hours, capacity, safety requirements and final admission time. A ticket for one date does not automatically entitle you to attend on another date.
Ticket-specific conditions, including age, concessionary or companion-ticket eligibility, are displayed during booking. We may ask for reasonable evidence that a visitor meets an eligibility requirement.
5. Changes to your booking
Provided TicketSource’s Manage My Booking service is available and there is capacity, you may exchange your booking for another available date, time or White Star Heritage exhibition up to three days before your scheduled visit.
An exchange is subject to availability. If the replacement booking costs more, you must pay the difference. If it costs less, we will not normally refund the difference. Promotional, Early Bird and other special ticket types may have different or restricted exchange options, as shown during booking.
Within three days of your scheduled visit, booking changes are not guaranteed and may be considered only at our discretion.
6. Refunds and cancellations by customers
Tickets are non-refundable if you change your mind, cannot attend or do not attend. This includes booking a new date or time instead of using the exchange facility, illness, travel disruption, adverse weather that does not close the exhibition and other personal circumstances.
You may be able to submit a refund request through TicketSource’s Manage My Booking service up to 72 hours before your scheduled visit. The ability to submit a request is not a promise or entitlement that a refund will be given. Requests are considered individually and may be declined. Where eligible, use the Manage My Booking link in your booking-confirmation email to exchange your booking in accordance with section 5.
In exceptional circumstances, you may contact us to ask us to consider your situation. Any discretionary decision does not create an entitlement to a refund and does not affect your statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights. Tickets for leisure activities on a specific date or period do not normally carry the standard 14-day change-of-mind cancellation right. This does not remove your rights where we cancel, materially change or fail to provide the exhibition, or any other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
7. If we cancel, postpone or materially change an exhibition
If we cancel an exhibition, postpone it, move it from its advertised venue or make a material change to it, we will provide the remedy required by law and applicable TicketSource policies. This may include an alternative date or a refund. Where you are legally entitled to a refund, you will not be required to accept credit or an alternative booking.
We are not responsible for separate travel, accommodation or parking costs except where applicable law requires otherwise.
8. Reasonable changes to exhibitions
Historic artefacts, interpretation, displays and digital experiences may occasionally change for conservation, safety or operational reasons. Reasonable changes do not normally entitle a visitor to a refund. If a change fundamentally alters the exhibition purchased, we will provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.
9. Events beyond our reasonable control
Fire, flooding, severe weather, venue closure, utility failure, security incidents, public-authority restrictions, major transport disruption and industrial action may affect an exhibition. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate material changes to affected visitors.
10. Ticket transfers and resale
You may give an unused valid ticket to another person for personal use, provided eligibility requirements continue to be met and the transfer is not commercial. Tickets must not be purchased or used for commercial resale, advertised through unauthorised platforms or purchased primarily for resale. We may cancel tickets resold in breach of these Terms and cannot guarantee tickets bought from unauthorised sellers.
11. Admission and visitor conduct
Visitors must follow reasonable instructions, health and safety requirements and venue rules, treat staff and other visitors respectfully, and not damage or interfere with artefacts, displays or equipment. We may refuse admission or require a visitor to leave for serious misconduct, safety concerns, fraud, threatening behaviour or a material breach of these Terms. A refund will not normally be provided where removal results from serious misconduct.
12. Children, photography and belongings
Children must be supervised where required by the exhibition or venue. Parents, guardians and accompanying adults remain responsible for children in their care.
Personal photography is permitted unless signage or staff instructions say otherwise. Flash photography is not permitted. Professional or commercial photography and organised filming require prior permission.
Visitors are responsible for their belongings. We are not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused by our negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Website use and intellectual property
You may use our website for lawful personal purposes. You must not gain unauthorised access, introduce harmful material, interfere with security, use automated systems to purchase tickets in bulk for resale, scrape content commercially without permission or infringe the rights of White Star Heritage or another person.
Unless stated otherwise, our branding, design, text, graphics, photographs, video, audio, interpretation and digital experiences are owned by, licensed to or used with permission by White Star Heritage. You may view them for personal and non-commercial purposes, but must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or republish them without permission, except where permitted by law.
14. Third-party services and personal information
TicketSource and other third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party websites we do not control.
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Notice. Our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and similar technologies.
15. Our responsibility to you
We provide our services with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with applicable consumer law. Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
16. Complaints and contact
Please contact us so that we can investigate and resolve any issue. Where possible, include your name, booking reference, exhibition, date and a description of the issue.

17. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms for future bookings. We will not retrospectively make a material change that unfairly disadvantages customers who have already booked.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers resident elsewhere in the UK continue to benefit from mandatory protections that apply where they live.
